Money supply

The money supply is a possible intermediate target of economic policy. This is because they claim that an increase in the money supply will raise prices and money incomes, and this in turn will raise the demand for money to spend. The growth in the quantity of money supply can influence the inflation rate.

Expansionary monetary policy	Contractionary monetary policy
Increase money supply	Decrease money supply

Interest rate

There is a direct relationship between interest rates and the level of expenditure (investment) in the economy
